Sorry but Activision will do nothing to anger bungie. And the entire 10 year $500 million budget is cofunded by PlayStation. Why do you think PlayStation gets exclusive marketing, dlc, early dlc, early beta access, and bungie showing up at their press conferences. It could happen after the original 10 year contract ends but not before.

It depends on the contract. I doubt that Bungie had a 'don't piss us off' clause in the contract. As you said, they're pretty much owned by Activision for the next 10 years. So they are the ones who decide what happens with them and Destiny 2. Sony is just a advertising partner on the first Destiny. Sony doesn't decide what happens with Destiny 2 either.
