Rayman was not funded or produced by Nintendo. It was never even considered an exclusive. It's more exact like the Bayonetta 2 situation: SEGA canceled Bayo2 and Nintendo stepped in to safe it. And it's similar to the Devil's Third situation.
They did it with Bayonetta2 too, it was the exact same situation. It seems very clear that Ubisoft doesn't care about Beyond2. So Nintendos intervention could be the last chance for this game. Furthermore this is the kind of game that fits perfectly for a Nintendo console. |
They were supposed to fund the publishing of Rayman Legends in Japan and yes of course it was considered as exclusive before Wii U flop
