I have doubts, that Geno source predicted Pokmeon Plus/Minus which turned out to be fake. His track record isn't full proof.
Trev/SuperMetalDave I believe definitely has sources but I think this Geno guy is just making stuff up (Google Pokemon Plus Minus to see).
Also I don't think Nintendo would finance a Western developed sequel/franchise.
