a) Constant ankle injuries are a pain in butt aren't they? Warriors fans and Steph know better than anyone. These past 2 years, his ankles have been healthy, not counting Russell Westbrook stepping on it in the game against the Thunder (which Steph not only came back from, but tore them and their fans' hearts to shreds.) 
b) Isiah Thomas and Kevin Garnett never scored over 2000 points in one season, you're going to tell me they're not elite scorers?
Tim Duncan only did it one time, so I guys he's just as elite of a scorer as Steph is. And since soooo many guys have done it before Steph did, than I guess 2000 points in a season isn't that elite after all.
c) As for your other comment in regards to the MVP and James Harden, either one of them could've gotten it and both would've been absolutely deserving of it, just like D-Wade and Kobe were deserving of the 2009 MVP that went to LeBron, who deserved as well, or LeBron was deserving of the 2011 MVP that went to Derrick Rose, who deserved it as well. There can only be one MVP, and that's awarded to the guy that is most valuable to his team and organization. Without Steph, the Warriors fall out of the top 4 seeds in the West, they struggle to make the playoffs, they don't win the championship, and they sure as hell don't get a sniff at 73 wins. 
Steph is special because he is doing things on the court that nobody has ever done before and/or to his degree. He is REVOLUTIONIZING the game of basketball before our very eyes. Now, you don't have to be a 6'6"-6'9" athletic monster with incredible leaping ability like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, or Kobe Bryant where you can shoot over the top of everyone and use your supreme athleticism and physical stature to get the best of defenders. You can be a 6'3" point guard with a deadly jumpshot and still be not only the best basketball player on the planet, but a CHAMPION. LeBron, Durant, and Kobe were following the paths that guys like Magic, Larry, and Michael set before. Steph didn't follow those paths, he forged his OWN path. 
But don't take my word for it (or Allen Iverson's for that matter), let's hear what some of the game's legends have to say.
Steve Nash:
"It's an evolution of the game. I hate to bring myself into this but he's taking what I did, to another level. He's doing things I never did. The game's evolving and it's beautiful to see because it's about skill and dedication, commitment and inspiring a whole new generation. It's awesome to see and it'd going to be fascinating to see what the next evolution will be because of Steph."
Kevin Garnett:
"Like Michael Jordan was a whole other thing, this guy is his own thing. It's beautiful for basketball."
Gregg Popovich in 2013 after a game, 2 years before Steph ascended the NBA throne.
"It was like playing against Michael Jordan." So Pop knew before a lot of people what Steph was capable of and the potential he has.
Kobe Bryant:
"I see a calmness about him. And I think it's something a lot of players don't understand. It's going to be hard for the fans to understand, because the players don't get it. There's this serious calmness that's extremely deadly He's not up, he's not down, he's not contemplating what happened before, he's not thinking of what's next, he's just there. When a player has the skills, and has trained himself to have the skills to be able to shoot, dribble left or right, etc. And then you MIX that with this calmness and poise. Then you have a serious, serious problem on your hands." One of the greatest assassin's in the history of the game and top 10 players ever, seriously talking about how deadly this guy is!
And this was before he blew up Twitter on Saturday with his game-winner, which drew praise from guys like:
LeBron, D-Wade, Dirk, Damian Lillard, Demar Derozan, Porzingas, EARVIN MAGIC JOHNSON!!
Earvin Magic Johnson:
If that game-winner by Stephen Curry wasn't enough to prove that he's the greatest shooter of all-time, I don't know what will."
These aren't just some random names of the game, these are some of the greatest players, minds, and legends to ever be involved in the game praising this dude and putting into perspective how amazing this guy is!
This guy is special. Period.
