If that's true that's dumb and stupid. I usually defend Nintendo in some censorship matters (like the ones in FE or in XCX), but this wouldn't be right at all. Let's take it with a pintch of salt, since I don't believe it's actually true.
And, another question I'd like to ask since I don't really know is: I know that Nintendo publishes Bravely Second on the West, but is it a Nintendo's decision or a SE decision? I'm not entirely sure about who has the rights to do so, and if the publisher can't tell a developer to fuck off and cut content.
