So hold up guys. Some folks are saying that a console with phone integration = a smart console.
Okay.
You guys do realize that any bluetooth device with a screen has a potential to be a "smart x". My fit bit gives me caller ID on its screen when i get s phone call, therefore it is a "smart fitness tracker" whereas the version without the screen is just a "fitness tracker", and my car's dashboard head unit that displays incoming calls, allows me to make outgoing calls with voice command, and reads music playlists and videos from my phone's storage means it's a "smart GPS/stereo/head unit".
This is literally something Sony or Microsoft could easily, easily do with a firmware update. If they felt their users could benefit from it, that is.
And if you're going to argue that it's because it's running an "android-like" OS, well hello Ouya, the world's first smart console.
