I still think your whole thread is complete bull. I'm sorry it just feels like you had a thought and instead of thinking it through you put it in a thread. If you want to explain your OP you had multiple chances to do it but failed. So naturally I'm going to call out your dud defence posts. You had your chances but instead somebody else had to do it for you. 

Mjk just seemed more knowledgeable than you and we went on to discuss it further which we could of done instead of saying stuff like 'but kowenicki didn't disagree so FACT CONFIRMED'. It's like you were trying to summon kowenicki to dig you out.

You probably do know more and didn't show it but that's your failings. And maybe I don't know much about this subject but you're the one claiming that they do. If you can't explain your reasons and fold when questioned, expect to be pulled apart. If something doesn't make sense to me I will question it. Accept it and move on.

As for the PS3 Blu Ray comment,  that makes sense. We are getting somewhere. 

I wasn't vague, I was concise. I could have added more detail to the original post (like how Microsoft partnered with Sega to get Windows CE on the Dreamcast, but then Sega faltered and Microsoft had to create their own console), but it's long as it is and it's counterproductive to discussions when you push too much text on the community. Even at its current length, a lot of people aren't going to read the original post in its entirety and it shows in the responses.

You think my thread is complete bull, but at the same time you agree with mjk45's posts. The issue here isn't the content of posts, it's who posts it. You don't like me, so you got it in your head that you have to disagree with me no matter what. That's how the same key points can be wrong and right for you at the same time. Likewise, you demanded a link from me but took the word from someone else as good enough. That's not a consistent method of asking for proof.

Lastly, I haven't dug myself a hole and I am not being pulled apart. In case you haven't noticed, everyone else who has chimed in on the subject of Microsoft's reasons for creating the Xbox has supported the reasoning of my original post. It's not that I stated my opinions as facts, I stated facts for what they are.

Lol let's play 'you hate me' card. You are still missing the point and your turning this into something else. I actually have more confidence in reason 1 but not because of you. You had 2 chances to reply to me but you just replied with absolutely nothing.

I asked for link to get the an understanding the context of why they believed consoles would be a threat. Talking to mjk put more context on it. You could of done the same. To tell the truth a simple reply to my first comment would of prevented where we're at. All I wanted is to understand your opinion and as it's your opinion, talking about it is the whole point of a forum.

If you want to sulk over me calling your thread tripe instead of talking about, fine, it only generates the illusion that you do not know what the hell you're talking about.

Anyway thanks to mjk and ruler for doing rols work. Now I usually have a 3 strike rule but you've had more than enough strikes so excuse if I don't reply to next post.
