Reason KD won't go in my view is because for a player like him to be effective, he needs to ball in his hands for most of the time and beat the defender off the dribble and shoot over them, he needs to play ISO ball. That's not how Golden State rolls, they move the ball around, get everyone involved and put all 12 guys on that roster n a position to be lethal and deadly, they play TEAM ball. 
It wouldn't work because the two styles would clash.
