Titanic is like the greatest movie ever made!!!!
Not only was it #1 at the box office, it is like the ONLY film in history to have sweeped the OSCARS AND become one of the biggest grossers of all-time.
It is truly a modern day masterpiece and will be looked upon years and YEARS from now like they do films like Gone with the Wind, Casablanca and The Godfather, etc.
And yes, I'm happy TFA won't beat Titanic or Avatar BUUUT...I've heard it's due to the exchange rate. The European dollar is VERY weak right now against the US dollar and results in a loss of like $400 million compared to 2009 when Avatar was released and the US dollar was weaker.
But hey, it is what it is, right?
