I know this was a fact during the 360/ps3 era. As xbox ownes brought games mostly day one whereas PS3 owners waited for the bargain bucket. Its evident by the fact that 360 games always opened bigger, but in the end those games would be fairly neck and neck, but still with 360 games coming out on top.
As for now? No idea how Ubisoft came up with this.
