My guess is if the game turns out to be crappy, Nintendo/Miyamoto will distance themselves from it and try to blame Platinum, even though the core ideas that aren't working come from Miyamoto apparently. So basically Platinum is kinda set up as the fall guy for this. I still hope the game turns out good.
