That news story was just ridiculus. It was a nice excercise in reading with third grade critical thinking skills though. Basically the editor in cheif of an SD sympathizing newpaper wanted to make a "pride parade" through only muslim heavy areas. Meanwhile in reality, when it's time for a real pride parade in gothenburg rainbow flags and posters are up everywhere in every neighbourhood. I know because I live there.

As for your earlier point of them holding homophobic views etc. Noone is saying that many of them don't, that's a strawman of yours. That is why we need to do a good job with something called integration.

The point is homosexuals should be able to do a gay pride march through whatever neighbourhood they wish.When Sweden is majority muslim in 20 years will gay pride parades only take place in tiny rural villages so as not to offend the muslims in the big cities? The left protesting against gay pride marches just because they take place in muslim neighbourhoods is an extreme form of the white saviour complex.

I already explained to you what was wrong with the event you posted. You and your previous link it trying to spin it as if people are protesting a gay pride parade through muslim areas. That's not why people are protesting. They are protesting because the guy who wants to organize this march is affiliated with SD, and layed it out to only go though immigrant-heavy areas. They don't want the gay pride movement to be hijacked by SD. If it was the real gay pride movement doing it and marching through an entire city including some immigrant areas, noone would complain.

What's going to happen in 20 years is what has happened already with muslims who came here. Most will stick nominally to their religion but not really following it. If you look at demographics you can see that only about 25 000 out of 300 000 are devout enough to even pray 5 times a day. Give it a generation or two and most won't be very religious. Longer and they won't even be religious by name. A lot of people from a muslim background who happen to turn out gay will leave the religion and participate in the pride marches. That's what will happen.
