Yeah...unless it gets more fun further in, it's kinda hard to defend it as anything but fanservice for Jump fans. I do like the random dialogue (mostly with the comedy characters), and that it has the original voice actors for characters with a current or recent anime series, though. Speaking of which, I'm not a huge Dragonball fan... and so my only exposure to DBZ was through the dub when I was a kid. I had no idea how horrible Goku's Japanese voice is. Tell me about it, I'm a huge dbz fan (favorite anime when I was a kid) and when I first heard his japanese voice...I couldn't believe it, especially growing up with the cool sounding English dub. That's why I try to stay away from the subbed version as much as possible. (Super and J stars don't help...)
