If it's easy to get into but hard to master, looks beautiful and vibrant retaining the Nintendo level of excellence it may certainly sell 10 million in the install base can support those kind of numbers.
Hopefully Nintendo will learn from Splatoon that they can make new IP that achieve the same level of success if not more than Mario and Zelda and give us a better first party line up.
