Your resolution to improve yourself is hopefully a very recent one, because otherwise... oh god.

I don't have any other suggestions at the moment. If it were easy to come up with something, then someone would have already accomplished that in one of the previous years. To the credit of the ambassador initiative, it didn't turn out to be a counter-productive measure like previous ideas.

Indeed it is quite recent I have plans to stand up to *for* users in a more productive way. An example of doing this would be to start reporting posts instead of responding to them harshly; or responding to them in a better way.

Us ambassadors have a Skype chat in which we throw ideas around and we have come up with - and applied - a few good thread ideas as of late. Hopefully we can bring fresh ideas and good discussion to the site, which admittedly can be difficult sometimes.
