Actually, the GCN comparison is probably more viable. As in, the Wii version is a juggernaut seller on a juggernaut system. Meanwhile, the GCN and the Wii U are both on underachieving systems, so it's more even and reasonable in that regard alone. The situation with Wii U draws more parallels with GameCube, if either.
