Ya variety is great, still 10-18 Nintendo games would be overkill and would hurt individual sales, regardless of when it releases 2-4 Nintendo exclusives in the launch window is what we will get and that's a sufficient amount. Nintendo is constantly criticized for droughts, blowing their load at launch would just cause a large post-launch drought. As for 3rd parties, go back and read ur previous post, "Ok let's say that NX releases in this year in november and it launches with (for example) 10 games and 8 more games were released throughout the rest of 2016 and up to November of 2017. Why not wait to launch til November of 2017 to have a stronger launch lineup with those 18 games?" Ur saying holiday 2017 will have more games because they can release games finished from Q4 2016-Q3 2017 all in Q4 2017, hence why I said it would just be padding the launch window with late ports. |

2 to 4 is not enough. 8 or more would be better. If the games are good, they'll sell well for over time but at launch, software sales is not a priority but getting people to buy a console is. Need appealing games to do that.
