Hello, this is an interesting topic because Nintendo definitely needs to have a great launch line-up of 1st and 3rd party games and they need a constant supply of games releasing throughout the year. One of the Wii U's major problems was it's name. While I don't have any problems with the Wii U's name, people who aren't Nintendo gamers have no idea what a Wii U is or if it is any different from the Wii. Nintendo also needs to appeal to 3rd party developers and hardcore gamers by making their system more powerful than the PS4. Since the NX is releasing mid-generation, Nintendo has the chance to become accepted by gamers again. Many people are becoming disappointed with the not as powerful as expected PS4 and Xbox One, and this leaves an opportunity for Nintendo to step up from making "kid consoles" and become mainstream once again.
Hardware
Name of Console- Nintendo NXT (Next)
Tagline- The Future is Here
Release- Japan in July 2016 (Testing to make it perfect for world-wide launch) World-Wide Launch in Early November
Branding- The logo will be red to combat Xbox and PS4 colors and bring back classic Nintendo colors to show they are back in the game.
Game Cases- (Flash Memory) A small form factor case with a clear red top.
Games- New AAA games will retail at $60, however to drive console and software sales any remasters or older games that came out before the NXT release will be $40.
Marketing- Nintendo is going to pay almost every major third party release to have the red Nintendo NXT logo with the tagline and "Only $300" phrase at the end of every trailer and commercial instead of the PS4 logo. All Marketing for the games will have the NXT logo on it. They are going to make crazy hardcore gaming commercials that play almost everywhere and appeals to nostalgia as well. Consoles will all include a different game. There will be two colors: Black and White. Leading up to December there will be a new bundle every month. November is a Red Mario Console. (Includes a book about the history of Mario, All Mario Virtual Console Games, an HD remaster collection of Mario Galaxy 1, 2, 3D land, and 3D World, and the new Mario game that launches with the NXT. The console is clear plastic and looks like the funtastic N64 consoles. The power button has Mario Noises and it comes with a cool Mario theme. December is a green Zelda themed console. (Includes Hyrule Hystoria, All Zelda Virtual Console Games, an HD remaster collection of Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess, and the Zelda NXT game. This is also clear plastic, the power button makes Zelda noises and it comes with a cool zelda theme. The two consoles will have Red and Green commercials for the Holdiday Season. All NXT consoles include a normal Mario Amiibo. The Mario edition console has a wing Mario amiibo, and the Zelda one has a child Link amiibo.
Portable- 1080p handheld that can support slightly downgraded visuals from the console. The portable is the normal NXT controller with a 4.88''x4.18'' (3ds xl sized) screen in the center. The portable docks onto the console to show unity between handheld and console. The flash memory supported on the console also works on the portable. Simply take it out of the console and pop it into the portable to pick up where you were on the go. While the portable is docked it can charge and send information between consoles.
Standard Controller- The standard controller is an Upgraded Wii U Pro Controller with NFC build in to the center. The finish is switched to matte so it looks nicer and the sides have two colored lights. (P1 is red lights, P2 is blue, ect...)The 2nd joystick is yellow (resembles the c-stick) and the A,B,X, and Y buttons have Super Famicom Colors. The bumbers are like scrollabe mouse wheels. The center has a home button that lights up, and start and select buttons.
Console- The actual console is matte like the controller and has a dock at the top, making it have an interesting and unique shape. the center of the front of the console has a slot for a cartridge, and directly above it is the Nintendo NXT logo. Going all around the console leading to the Nintendo NXT logo is a red strip of light that also lights up the logo. When it is in standby mode the light turns yellow, and when it is on the light turns blue. the front has two usb 3.0 ports directly under the cartridge slot, and four more on the back. Also on the back is a power plug, an hdmi cable, and a wii motion sensor plug, and an ethernet port. There is no power brick, and because of no optical drive the console is around the size the Wii U is.
Output- The NXT can output 4k resolutions and stream 4k video, but play games up to 2k at 60fps. (The advertising campain shows how it's cheaper than PS4 but has double the power)

RAM- 16gb DDR4 RAM (Twice the competition)
Video Card- 4GB Video Card (4K Support)
Hard Drive- 2tb, expandable. There will be a latch on the bottom of the NXT that you can put a memory add on in. There will be 2tb memory add ons sold officially from nintendo.
Price- $300 (They will not make money or lose money) (Cheaper than competitors)
First Party Games
The Legend of Zelda: NXT Adventure (Will have a better name XD) - This will be a better looking version of Zelda Wii u that will have more features and push NXT sales. To show Nintendo is series about online, this game will have up to 4 player online. (Players join another players world or can start a shared world and all start together.)
Animal Crossing: Wonder World- This will be the Animal Crossing game that was supposed to be on Wii U with better features and graphics. Using new NXT technology, it can support massive always online worlds. For example, instead of opening the gate, everyone of your friend's worlds will be on a country map and you can navigate to any one of your friends worlds at any time, even when they are offline. However, to prevent trolling, you need permission to do things in other towns.
Super Mario 128- Miyamoto always wanted to make a Mario 64 sequel, yet never got to make it. This will be bundled with every NXT and make people of all ages want a NXT. Features 4 player co-op and adds online for the first time.
Pikmin 4- We know this has been in development and is likely almost complete. If Nintendo hasn't anounced it yet it is a NXT game. Pikmin 4 also adds 2 player online.
Smash Bros Championship Edition- This includes Smash 4 Wii U + 3DS all stages, characters, trophies and more + all of the DLC, better graphics, better online, more features, 2 more fighters (completed already Sakurai has moved to another project), and more stages. Sakurai isn't working on Smash 4 anymore so this remaster will be done by another company. This version will have a toggle option to use Smash Bros Melee Physics and Nintendo is going to try to establish it as a top-tier e-sport. Remasters on NXT are only $40 to drive sales.
Punch Out: Take it to the NXT level- Features an all new story and characters as you play as Little Mac who has lost all of his fame after a defeat and must regain his title. Features a local and online multiplayer face-off mode for the first time in the series. Play versus friends as any character in the game, or make one.
(Crazy Idea) Duck Hunt- A story driven open world RPG with the style of a hunting game. A new twist to Duck Hunt and Open World. (Remember that rumor about an open-world action game?)
Star Fox Zero: The NXT Mission- This is a port of Star Fox Zero. The only reason this is releasing is to help console sales and help the new Star Fox game sell. This game is releasing in April on Wii U, so if the NXT is a July release in Japan, why not. It will have way better graphics with no gamepad having to have 60fps. It will have a longer story with more original ideas and an awesome online mode. (Still not confirmed if the Wii U version has multiplayer)
Bayonetta Witch Time Collection- Comes with Bayonetta 1+2 remastered and is releasing for players to play as they wait for Bayonetta 3. Only $40 and includes a Bayonetta Amiibo which has cool features in the new games.
Pokken Tournament- This may happen. (may not) It will have better graphics and features. Includes tons of new characters. Only $40 and includes a Charizard Amiibo.
Third Party Games
Because it is coming out in June 2016 in Japan, anything releasing around that time will be on the NXT
Square Enix- Square Enix Announces all of the games below as launch titles all at once and announces it's return to Nintendo
Dragon Quest 11- Comes out first on Nintendo. Has Nintendo exclusive content.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake - Since the original final fantasy 7 wasn't on Nintendo the episodes will come out months early on NXT. Nintendo fans will get DLC (If any) for free, and when all the episodes are released Nintendo will be the only platform to get a retail copy.
Final Fantasy 15- Square Enix declares they have returned home to Nintendo and as long as they get sales will publish all future games on Nintendo consoles. (Not this one because it was already revealed for other consoles) All DLC is free on NIntendo. Comes out a year before other platforms.
Dragon Quest Builders + - has Nintendo elements in it (All DLC Free as Well) Comes out months earlier than other platforms.
World of Final Fantasy- Same deal as 15 and 7 (All DLC free on Nintendo and Comes to Nintendo First.) Comes out months earlier than other platforms.
Rise of the Tomb Raider- Releases at same time as PS4 version (DLC free for Nintendo) Only $40 because it's a year old. Includes the Original Tomb Raider Reboot for free only on NXT. (Like How Bayonetta 2 included Bayonetta 1)
Hitman Definitive Edition- Only on Nintendo, this has better graphics and includes all the DLC for only $40. has some Nintendo exclusive content.
Bethesda
Bethesda never released games on Nintendo before, but since Nintendo is appealing to hard core gamers and has a powerful console they decide to support it. Nothing special with their games on the NXT.

Black Ops Trilogy- This is an updated port of all three Black Ops games with Black Ops 3's online. Only on Nintendo. Only $40.
Next COD game- This will have DLC first on NXT and come out a month before other platforms.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan- Platinum Games likes Nintendo. Nintendo likes Platinum Games. This will come out first on Nintendo.
Destiny: The Taken King- Destiny is a huge game that never released on Wii U even though it could have. This includes all of the DLC and possibly new DLC if that is ever released. This is updated with great graphics and more features that can't be done on PS4. has exclusive Nintendo Star Fox Content. (Like an Arwing as a ship)
Skymiibo New Game- Skylanders was originally supposed to be on Nintendo only, so Nintendo is partnering with Activision to make it a NX exclusive. This is a collab between EAD and the Skylander's Team. All future skylanders are Amiibo-like and this game is an Amiibo game over a skylanders game.
Ubisoft
New Rayman Game- This is a NXT exclusive (Like Rayman legends was supposed to be like but actually remains an exclusive and releases on time)
The Division Definitive Edition- $40 Best played on NXT. Better graphics and bigger world. All DLC.
Watch Dogs 2- This will come out a month early on the NXT as an apology for making Wii U owner wait over a year for the original. It will also have an updated version of the original included with it.
Far Cry Primal Definitive Edition- Only $40. Has all DLC for free and better graphics.
For Honor- Has exclusive features on Nintendo

If Nintendo gets serious Acquiring companies may be a possiblility.
Capcom
Capcom has been for sale for a while and has a close friendship with nintendo. (Mega Man and Ryu) Nintendo will help Capcom improve quality and Capcom will help Nintendo by having all Capcom games on Nintendo only. Retro Studio's new game will be almost complete, so they will work with Capcom to make a great Megaman game. Nintendo will quality control all Capcom games to make sure they are all great. If not great, Nintendo will take charge of a project and send in developers to fix the game. Street Fighter V will come out on the NXT with all of the DLC characters and more for free. (Launch Game) Megaman and Samus will be fighters. After Year 1 of the Street Fighter V DLC, It will no longer sell on PS4 and all future DLC will only be on NIntendo. Resident Evil Umbrella Corps becomes a Nintendo exclusive game. Resident Evil: 2 Remake is currently being made, so when it's done Capcom will release an HD collection of RE1, RE0, RE2, RE3, and RE4. Nintendo will help Capcom return to its roots with Resident Evil 7. Capcom will make a next gen Monster Hunter game. This will sell in Japan like crazy since the NXT is also a portable. Capcom will also make a next gen Pheonix Wright game and try to make the series more popular for the NXT.
Konami
The world hates Konami now and they have tons of under-utilized game series. Konami seems to have no interest in making games anymore other than two series. Nintendo isn't going to buy Konami, however they are going to purchase all of their developers and IPs. Nintendo will work with these developers to help them make awesome games. Metal Gear Solid V will release with better graphics and features on Nintendo. It will feature all of the DLC. (Launch title) Nintendo will work on a new Metal Gear Solid Game and make Snake a character in Smash. Nintendo will also release a collection of HD remasters of Metal Gear Solid 1-4 since they weren't really on Nintendo systems. (Launch Title) NIntendo will quality control games with the same system they use with Capcom. Nintendo will bring Silent Hills back to the rejoice of fans. Nintendo will also rename PES Nintendo PRO Soccer and have a new one release almost every year. They will expand this developer's team and also release a Nintendo Pro Basketball series and a Nintendo Pro Football series. (If these games sell good Nintendo will continue to expand this developer and make more sports games.) This is to make sure they have sports games on NXT even if EA abandons it. NIntendo's 2D Mario Platformer team will work with a Konami team to make an awesome new Contra game that revolutionises the shooting genre and will compete with COD. NIntendo will also form a new AAA developer and work with Konami to make a new Castlevania.
Koji Igarashi
Nintendo will appoint him as the head of their new AAA game developement team and after Bloodstained comes out he will work on making a AAA Castlevania game.
Comcept
Keiji Inafune will help create the new Mega Man game after he is done with Mighty Number 9. AFter that, he will have a large role in future Mega Man games, or he can start new projects. Finally, Nintendo will help the return of Onimusha.
SEGA
Sega's sales numbers have been falling and they have cut their projected sales numbers around 4 times this year alone. NIntendo and Sega have been very close with making the Mario and Sonic at the olympic games series. Sega's current CEO has talked about returning to making quality games and Nintendo will help fix their current teams and help them produce Nintendo quality titles. They will have the same quality control as Capcom and will work on many games. The current Sonic 25th anniversary game will launch with the NXT and because Nintendo wants to satisfy SEGA fans the game will be Sonic Adventure 3. To maintain quality EAD will help work on this. (Minimally, to make sure it's good.) After this game release they will start work on Mario and Sonic. This will be a collab game with EAD and Sonic Team. It will be a 3D platformer with half Mario Style levels and half Sonic Style Levels. The Valkyria Chronicles remaster will also be on the NXT and the new Valkyria Chronicles will be exclusive to the NXT. The creator of Shenmue 3 has revealed he didn't have enough funding to make it truely open-world, so NIntendo will make the Shenmue team AAA caliber and the only system that will get the true version of Shenmue 3 will be Nintendo. Nintendo will outsource a remaster of Shenmue 1+2. (Launch Title) Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Zero will release on the NXT and Nintendo will try to establish Yakuza as a huge series in the West. A new phantasy star online will release worldwide and Nintendo will market it to try and make it a popular series. NIntendo will also help come out with a new Jet Set Radio game with great features. Finally, nintendo will help establish the return of many old games. New games will release for Golden Axe, After Burner, and Ecco the Dolphin. Ecco the Dolphin will show off the amazing visuals of the NXT and will be an open world 3D platformer with amazing water visuals and innovative controls. Atlus games will only release on Nintendo. Persona 5 will have exclusive NXT feautures and Persona Golden Collection will release on the NXT. It will have all previous Persona games. Persona 5 Dancing all night will eventually release. All other Atlus games will only release on Nintendo.
Platonic Games
Nintendo will make Platonic Games a AAA quality developer and Yooka Laylee will be exclusive to the NXT on consoles. After Yooka Laylee is done being worked on they will help work on a New Donkey Kong game with Retro. Retro will make the 2d levels, and Platonic will make the 3D levels. It will be a genre defining platformer that has 2D and 3D sections. Yooka and Laylee will be in Smash to grow the public's view of their characters. They will also work an a variety of Genres that classic Rare used to do.

December- Zelda HD Collection- Includes Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, WIndwaker HD, and Twilight Princess
(Starting in November there will be a new Pokemon game every month leading up to the January release of the new main series game)
November- Pokemon Snap 2- This will feature a huge game with all current Pokemon
December- Pokemon Stadium NXT- This will be a stadium game with all Pokemon, and great minigames.
January- Pokemon Z- This is an amazing 3D pokemon game with great graphics and the ability to travel to every region. You can only travel to your first region in the portable version, put when you dock the handeld onto the console you have access to the entire world. This will have great online features and even have your friends playing with you in your world. You can start in any region you want, changing the story based on your choice.
March- New Metroid Prime game releasing with tons of marketing making it almost as big as Zelda. It will have an awesome online multiplayer making it almost like a Halo competitor.
Late in the Year- A new console Fire Emblem with online and groundbreaking new features.

An amazing Eshop Featuring: Free Game transfers from 3DS and Wii U. Purchases give you 10% of the money spent back in e-shop credit. Digital Wii U Games have backwards compatibilty. 100s of virtual console games day one for NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, DS, 3DS, Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, Gamegear, and Wii U. 3DS games will be backwards compatible digitally and physically because the cartridge slot will support 3ds cartridges. Any publisher with e-shop content on the WIi U or 3DS that verifies they want to sell on the NXT will have their Game/s trasfer to the NXT e-shop running at a higher-frame rate and resolution day one. VIrtual console games will be cheaper and GameCube and older systems will upscale the resolution of the game.
