I don't see how what I thought of the content I did get is in any way relevant to how I feel the rest of the content should've been distributed, but that's just me. It's not because of me wanting to 100% the game, it's because I want to have access to the different modes and maps from the get go, not having to wait months for them to release.
If you make 50k per year on your job, and you're satisfied with that, but your colleague makes 70k per year in the same position, then that does not make it just because you were satisfied with your 50k per year. Likewise, just because I was satisfied with the content I did get from Splatoon, does not make it okay that it didn't have all of the content until nearly half a year later.

Well again, you could have waited. Really with both options having the same content in the end, the only real difference between the two release methods is when you can get the game. One has it available in December, the other also has it fully featured in December, but can also be obtained as early as May if you so choose. You were saying Nintendo is being forceful, but you actually have more freedom this way.

Like I wrote, the Splatooon Wii U bundle was the only Wii U sku available. And I still don't agree with the business practice of releasing something before it's done.
Saying you can buy the game later is an excuse. It's like defending Destiny's lack of content at launch because you could wait for The Taken King Legendary Edition and get all the content for the same price. Not saying this is as bad as that, because for Splatoon the content was free, but it still isn't something I agree with. Would you be okay with the next Splatoon launching in the same way? The next Mario Kart? Heck, the next 3D Mario? The next Smash Bros?
