I don't think any Rocky film has won an Oscar except the first one. And yes, Creed is still a Rocky film. Anyway, I can't side with the people who are boycotting the show. Maybe Straight Outta Compton did deserve something but how many awards could that movie have gotten? You got Star Wars, but let's be honest here. Who in the hell is going to compete with Harrison Ford? The Hateful Eight has not gotten the same critical reception that other Tarantino movies have gotten. While there were some great movies with black actors, there just haven't been that much. I also find to be total bullshit that the people making these decisions are being biased, especially considering that they are from liberal left-wing Hollywood, where forced diversity has been the standard practice of the film industry over the years.
Finally, with this call for a lack of diversity, how many other actors of other races have made the same complaint? Is the complaint really about the lack of diversity or just the lack of their own race? Would these black actors side with any Asian actor who complains that they aren't being represented?
