Map and mode rotation to me only contributed to the games feeling like it lacked in content. Heck, it's the main reason. When you're stuck with the same two modes (whichever mode is on ranked atm and Turf Wars), and the same two maps for hours at a time, they limit the amount of content you can play so drastically. If I could change one thing about Splatoon, I'd change the rotation system, because that was much more detrimental to it than the content launch system. However if I could change several things, I'd change both.
