Who knows, maybe this one will. But the original post doesn't feel epic enough (in terms of how it looks) to be one of those ongoing threads with 500+ replies.

I avoid those giant 500 post+ "official" threads. They're pretty much topics where a small number of users make lots of posts in, and nobody else knows what's going on.

To put some reason to it: while that jumble of posts may make sense to the people spending the time to read everything in them, the other 99% of the board sees a big off-topic mess.
