They have wonderful franchise and I think they will be very, very successful with mobile games, but I think the next-generation is going to shift Nintendo into more of a media and app company.

NX will do well enough to generate good profit, but it won't necessarily have to carry the company.

With regards to dedicated home consoles, in think there in particular they are in tough and unless they have a very special idea that drives massive hardware adoption, they probably are not going to be a real threat. The home console business belongs to Playstation and probably will stay that way unless Sony makes a major screw up. 

They could have success with movies too if they are handled correctly but that's a big if.

I think as well the portable line will continue to see erosion because of kids growing up with cheap tablets/free games as their go to portable, but hopefully they don't drop below 50 million units (portable).

If they can keep the portbale around 50 million sold and the console chips in with 15-20 million, that should be enough to make a nice sized profit with a unified platform, combine that with smartphone apps potentially pulling in big money, that should be good enough to see the company through another 6-8 years.
