I just find the obsession over it being released in a certain window becoming humorous at this point because it's become so ridiculous.

So a November 2016 launch = end of the world, no way, can't happen, I'll KILL YOU MIYAMOTO! Don't you DARE!

But March 2017 or something = "eh, I guess that would be OK".

lol

In 3 years none of you guys will give two shits about the Wii U or when it was replaced. The consoles simply just facilitate Nintendo GAMES (that's what's important). Do any of you wake up with cold sweats still to this day about the GBA being replaced early?

By the same logic it can release next month. Pretty sure you are generalising though.

I simply don't see them having the resources to do it, besides the fact that they actually confirmed officially that the NX is not the sucessor of the 3DS and Wii U nor would they rush anything to the market. Of course, by some people's logic's here they can just be lieing with all their teeth, because reasons. Any normal person concludes the logical, wich is that nothing is coming out this year.

It's that simple. The denial river is coming from those trying to spin statements into lies, development cycles for new console software below 2 years and reading things that aren't there in chip manufacturers reports. The desperation to find some proof is itself the proof that there isn't none. Its all made up.

There's no evidence the product is rushed. They haven't supported the Wii U or 3DS for shit for a while and their release schedule for both is bare bones looking ahead.

There's your dev resources here.

You're never going to get any "proof" from Nintendo because they don't give any before a formal actual announcement.

There's no desperation from me, I don't really care when they release it. To be honest I don't even expect NX to be that successful given market realities even though I suspect they will improve on the Wii U/3DS in many areas.  It could do well, but given the trajectory their hardware has been on for a while now, I think they'd probably need a minor miracle and that's probably an unfair expectation to have. It'll have some great Nintendo games on it though so I'll buy one no matter what.

If they launch this year, so be it. It's not a big deal, you get play Nintendo games on better hardware sooner (the horror!).
