I don't think those that want to be offended care about things like context.  A lot of people just listen and believe what an article tells them without looking at the source material, go on twitter, say they're offended and feel good about themselves because they think they said something just.  I'm sure if some gaming site that loves to politicalize things just told them to be offended without showing any kind of context; that would be enough for them.

I merged this with another IP in my mind, so I made a small edit to my post. Regardless, this part of the game has nothing to do with making a gay character straight.
