After Bayonetta 2 being exclusive and becoming tied to Nintendo, the franchise can't go anywhere without feeling incomplete. Nintendo will fund it, it's a safe 90+ metacritic game that only needs funding to exist,and even if it is not a monster seller, it will put their system all over the media, good advertising for the system and good PR for Nintendo.
