The mid-90s were also an age of shooter/sports/racing/action games and the introduction of consoles as multimedia devices, that perfectly describes PS4.

Again, ur original comment about 1995 makes no sense. You can't say someone failed because they act like it's 1995 then ignore that the market leader follows the exact same strategy they have been using since 1995, that is by definition a contradiction.

The market in 1995 was not ruled by M-rated AAA blockbusters like it is today.

No offense, but it seems you are simply attacking Sony because you don't like Nintendo being criticized.

I'm not attacking Sony, I actually haven't even said a single bad thing about them. I'm using them as an example of how ur 1995 comment makes no sense.

If u can't see how ur comment is a contradiction than u clearly don't understand what the word means. Nintendo failed because they act like it's 1995 while Sony is seeing a ton of success by utilizing the same strategy they did in 1995, that means acting like it's 1995 has nothing to do with Nintendo's failure.

I don't care that ur criticizing Nintendo, they deserve criticism for making numerous bone-headed decisions this generation, my complaint is that ur reasoning makes no sense and is a contradiction.

If you think the market today and the market in 1995 were the same, you obviously weren't a gamer in 1995.
