Nintendo are doing too many mix & match, and mash up, and spin-offs.

Time to release some games that are actual sequels to things people want, instead of constantly trying to reinvent the wheel.

This.

One of the worst things about Nintendo's output this generation is that instead of giving us the actual games we want, they give us watered spin-offs/minigames as if they think that will shut us up.

"Oh, you want Metroid? Here's some throwaway side story where you play as a Chibi Federation grunt. Oh, and here's another 2D Donkey Kong platformer."

"Oh, you want Zelda? Have a million cameos, spin-offs and remasters while we delay the real thing indefinitely."

"Oh, you want Animal Crossing? Here's  a C-grade Mario party knockoff with Animal Crossing window dressing."
