I don't even know how much of a jump the PS5/XB2 will be.
The jump from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1 is like a 5-7x leap (250 GFLOPS or so up to 1.2TF-1.8TF).
But 4K resolution alone requires 4x as many pixels to be rendered over 1080P. That means most of that next gen leap is going to be cannibalized by the huge extra requirement of rendering games at 4K.
Besides really how much better can the graphics even get before no studio can even make a game without risking bankrupting themselves if the game flops? You're running well into the point now of where the technology doesn't really matter so much because no studio can really harness that much power because it doesn't make business sense to make photo-realistic games.
