So the first world has expanded too much.  We need to regress to a sustainable level even if that means a simpler way of life.  It's not good for the planet to push this model.  And countries like China, India and Brazil will do the same.  It's unsustainable and it's the real problem but sadly people are selfish and only look at the short term issues.  

 

 

Agree with you, they really need stop with growth mentality. lose population should be seen as a good thing for the planet now. and every rich country complain with ppl who not work, well with less ppl there would be more ppl who work too, why get more ppl when there is enough on place already. just give them way to study for new work.

It's a pretty locked situation. A country that tries a different approach could easily get screwed by the countries who don't.
