I am a bit disappointed about the lack of a Metroid or Paper Mario, but overall I think the Wii U experience has been completed by the presence of new additions. Nintendo has given us quite a few great new additions that we haven't seen on recent consoles: a great Yoshi Platformer, an amazing new first person shooter IP, a Mario level-creater, Pokken Tournament, NES Remix, etc... I do think that once we have Star Fox, #FE, Pokken and Zelda U the Wii U will have a full console experience (at least excluding 3rd parties) that is close to what the 5-year consoles had.
So, in short, no I wouldn't be upset if Nintendo moves away from the Wii U after releasing the titles they have committed to in 2016.
