Heck yeah. I got chills a couple of times. I'm glad they got the big kicker into the first episode. It's kind of like a cold bucket of water in the face reminder that this is not a typical anime. I mean, all kinds of really bad stuff was revealed. Four children murdered, an innocent boy spending the rest of his life in prison, and then to walk in on that ... horrible. It was sad that the main character had that kind of guilt, as well. It was clear that his memories, even if repressed, had a profound impact on his life.
Unfortunately, most of the rest of the anime from today was a big helping of average.
Active Raid 01 -- Couldn't finish it. Maybe I'll try again later but ... eh.
Prince of Stride 01 -- Pretty good. At first I figured it was just going to be another Handsome Boys Playing Sports anime but there were some interesting personalities. We'll see.
Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu 01 -- I kind of liked it. Not great but it might be entertaining.
Musaigen no Phantom World 01 -- Heh. No.
Sushi Police 01 -- What.
Ojisan to Marshmellow 01 -- I laughed. It was good.
Majokko Shimai no Yoyo to Nene -- Turned the channel and watched some people trout fishing.
