2008 for me, with some of the most cringe-worthy presentations in E3 history. 2012 was more underwhelming than anything, considering they were on the verge of launching a new console.
As for this past year, well, what were you expecting? Other than possibly Zelda (which obviously was still a ways off) Nintendo had nothing else to really show, and they already blew most of their Wii U wad in '13 and '14.
