PS4 was at 18.5 WW last January Sony announced during last year's CES press conference.
A year later they're estimated to be around the 35-37 million range which would mean they sold 17-18 million in a year.
So let's say Sony announces next week at ces sales are now at 37-38 million WW, cool. Now let's also say VR takes off big this year after it launches and Sony takes the price down to $299 permanent, that could send ps4 sales close to 20 million, maybe 21 this year. That would pretty much come close to ps2's best year and put them at 59 million by this time next year.
As for wiiu, I expect it's sales to fall drastically assuming Nintendo launches the NX this fall as rumored.
Xbox one sales should also be down YOY as they've already used up their first price cut and halo 5 has already came and went and gears 4 won't do anything close to the numbers it put up during the 360 years.
So my prediction goes as follows.
PS4 58 million.
XB1 22-23 million
WIU 13 million.
