This could be the most critical hardware release in all their time as a console manufacturer. They either hit a home run, or they're fucked.

Well yeah, that's the thing, they were in a similar situation back then, albiet less extreme, but in that instance they did came out guns blazing and hit the ball out of the park with the Wii.

Obviously the exact same trick won't work twice, but they need to do something similarly brilliant and ballsy with NX if they want to reverse ther fortunes. They've come back from the brink before, the question is, can they do it again?
