Yarn, Clay, Ink and Wool: what will come next ?

How about a new concept all together? I was just thinking this whilst playing Wooly World with my daughter. Every freakin' platformer now has ice, lava, water, desert and forest worlds. I feel like gaming has gone into some prehistoric tar pit since we left the 90's.
