Obviously, Nintendo has increased software output at the expense of quality in 2015 to address the complaints of software droughts that we have seen in 2013 and 2014. Especially with the delay of Star Fox and Zelda we have definitely seen some Nintendo-pubished shovelware come out (Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis) and this has brought down their aggregate score.
Normally, I would be more upset about this but given how much Nintendo is struggling right now, I am not really surprised. Nintendo either needs to win back some 3rd Parties or unify their development platforms in the coming years... They can't keep the same output they had in the GCN/GBA pre-HD era without help. A quality HD game simply cannot be put together in less than 2 years (especially an HD game that meets Nintendo's normally high standards) and even portable games are becoming more and more graphically demanding (gone are the days of porting an SNES Mario title and charging $50 for a physical release).
