It was horrible to play, but it was kind of morbidly interesting to watch, in the same way as one of those utterly awful movies like The Room where you watch them just to laugh and facepalm at how shit they are.

Well, there you go. That is a form of enjoyment.

Only from watching it, which removes the frustration of the controls and framerate, and means I don't have to be as mentally and physically invested in it. Big difference between taking time out of my day to sit down and play through a frustrating game, and casually watching it on youtube while I write an article for work. By the same token, I can glean a morbid fascination from watching a car crash, but that doesn't mean I'd want to be in one.
