@TheRealMafoo, your guess sucks a lot. There's a lot of gamers that have chosen a Wii over an HD console. What the Wii did this gen is expand the market, in contrast of what you believe, that is that the Wii just grabbed a different segment of the whole market.
Wii has previous market + new market.
Overall Wii's market > HD's market.
