Gamecube has the best Zelda, the best Metroid, the best Smash Bros (between Wii & GC at least), the two best Resident Evil, the best Mario Kart, the best Tales of, the best (and last) F-Zero, the second best Paper Mario (behind the 64), the best Fire Emblem.
It also has the best third party deals, as Viewtiful Joe, Skies of Arcadia, Star Wars Rogue Squadron or Killer7. It also has freaking good new and fresh IP, like Pikmin 1&2, Baten Kaitos, Luigi's Mansion, Eternal Darkness, Chibi-Robo...
The Wii is an excellent console, but the gamecube is far far away from it. Its only failure is the lack of a good 3D Mario Game.
