This is quite the generalisation.

Rgardless as mentioned, F2P is not an excuse for that framerate. 

It is, because it's largely true. There are several very good F2P games, but those are not the common standard.

Games that are F2P are usually dependent on constant updates adding more content for you to buy, so it's an expectation that the game will change drastically in the next few updates.
