You called him a liar, that's far from civil words.

And there is a difference in disagreeing with content and disagreeing with substance of said content.  For example, I do very much like Skittles.  However, if someone started a thread called "I like skittles," I would not agree that that's a thread-worthy topic.   That opinion just can't go anywhere really.  The substance of what is said is just not sufficient.  Which is what he is getting at:  you can't quantify correctness, you can quantify substance.  Some opinions and ideas are more substantial, are of greater consequence than others.  To get a bit philosophical, my opinion on colors has little bearing on world view and prompts little discussion.  My opinion about the human condition has enormous ramifications for my world view and can easily prompt a very lengthy discussion.

And it's not about interest either.  You can find an opinion uninteresting and yet that opinion have a high degree of substance.  I'm not a huge fan of Nietzsche, but the opinions and theories of Nietzsche are still more substantial than my opinion on how cool 50s Corvettes look.  Because despite my interest in Corvettes, there's just more points of discussion and more ramifications to be found in Nietzsche.  And my disinterest doesn't change that.  So I have every right and reason to not participate in a Nietzsche thread but no right to claim it should be closed for lack of usefulness.

And this is a forum, a site built based on prolonged discussions, which means that new threads have a standard they have to meet in terms of the potential for that kind of discussion.  What he is saying is that just stating that you think x game is too hard/easy/complicated/etc and then leaving it off at that does not meet that standard.  And threads of insufficient substance are closed to prevent excessive clogging.

Lol this is getting ridiculous. I'm not going to bother reading what you said. You two are making this into such a big deal by talking about stuff that goes off topic. You guys can answer in simple terms.

You guys seem to be ignoring the main point I've been making since my first post and one which you two haven't addressed. He found the thread not worthy and that was HIS opinion. Others gave the OP a genuine answer because they understood what he meant. I said that anyone could say that a opinion thread like this is not worthy because that's their opinion. If he finds this thread not worthy, there are other people that can find another thread not worthy. It's as simple as that. You don't need to use fancy examples, answer me in simple terms. Since everyone can find one topic interesting and not interesting, it literally comes down to what someone finds thread worthy and not thread worthy and you have people from boths sides, and you two trying to argue that is just ridiculous.
