We've started to watch the movies in preparation for The Force Awakens. So far we've watched episodes I and II, and it's just hit me on how bad the script is. The actors could only do so much with such poor dialogue. Hayden Christensen got a lot of flack for his portrayal of Anakin, but no one could have made the character seem alive with such awkward and stilted dialogue.

The lightsaber fight choreography in the prequels are pretty impressive, and I think they get more and more impressive as the movies go on. The Maul fight in 1 was actually less impressive than I remembered, while the Tyranus fight in 2 was more impressive. But Lucas finally hits his stride in III with the Tyranus/Vader fights. They're definitely the best in the series by a long shot in my humble opinion.
I am a giant Christopher Lee fanboy so I might be a tad biased though.
