As a happy Wii U owner, I say...wait.
If the NX is backwards compatible (or just a whole lot better than the Wii U), you'll be able to get that. And even if it's not, once it comes out the Wii U is going to eventually be dirt cheap. Now seems like the worst time to buy one, in my opinion--things are too close to changing. Reggie himself said we would learn more about the NX at E3, which isn't too far off in the grand scheme of things.
