If the log is there that you want, buy it. You don't know what the NX is, what its launch lineup will be, whether it will be backwards compatible. The games are there, there are good bundles. I would recommend the Smash + Splatoon bundle if you want either of those. That's the console + two of its best exclusives for $250 (available next week). And if you didn't play the Wii, you have a good backlog there as well. I got mine a month ago and it's been a blast. WWHD, Smash, Kart, Splatoon, and 3D World have been great and I've been able to go back and catch up on some games on the Wii I never played or never finished like Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Mario Galaxy, and Skyward Sword. It's a good system that brings a diverse and unique set of exclusive experiences. If you have a PS4 or Xbone or powerful PC to handle your 3rd party needs, I strongly recommend the Wii U.
