I would have liked them to put a little more effort in, as far as smoothing out some of the polygon models, and maybe yes, adding some more dynamic lighting (though to be fair, TP for it's time had really good lighting).
IF I am going to re-purchase this game, I would like there to be somewhat more to it than merely a touchscreen map/inventory, and some better textures.
