For Destiny the US and UK made up 74.9% of the total week one sales and 79.8% of the overall sales for Destiny on Xone were from UK and US.

For Halo MCC UK and US were 75.4% of the total sales.

For CoD Ghosts they were 80.7% of total sales.

For Titanfall they were 79.4%.

Basically there's no shooter on Xone to my knowledge where the UK and US made up only 50% of the worldwide sales, and in face there doesn't appear to be any below ~75%.

So if thats the case it will be around 2 million first week. Still more than Splatoon life time sales. Reminds me when Nintendo fans said Wii U will outsell xbox one.

Well if the 75% remains accurate than you can extrapulate the known amounts of UK + US (150k +936k?) = 1.086m to be a third higher when accounting for the rest of the world 1.1+1.1/3 = 1.448m and then digital of expected 20% you'd get around 1.74m.

I agree I see no reason to think that Splatoon will win lifetime.  Basing the expected overall lifetime sales on first week previous Halo games Halo 4 had around 38.4% of it's total sales in the first week, Halo Reach had 37.7%, Halo 3 had 31.6% and Halo MCC (though still selling obviously) had around 34.5%.   Average that out to 35.5% and apply that to the 1.448m calculated before (as these % did not include digital) one could assume that Halo % will get to 4.07m retail sales with digital adding 20% to make 4.89m.

Splatoon's sales have been very impressive in their longevity, but I don't think it'll beat the projected Halo5 numbers.
