Nope. The PS4/XB1 versions would be better, so if I was interested in buying it, I'd buy one of those versions. I like Nintendo and all, but I'm not going to spend $60 on an inferior version of a game just for console politics.

Agreed. I appreciate that the Wii U version of Black Ops II has some cool GamePad features, but in general the game performed worse than other versions.

So I'd rather go for the version that plays and performs best.

Now, if Nintendo worked with Activision to create a unique title - maybe a spin-off like Big Red One - that took advantage of the Wii U hardware, I'd be all over it.

Or Nintendo could stop making hardware that's maybe 5-6 years behind their competetion? Third parties aren't going to give any one of three hugely preferntial treatement like making an entirely new game for just one hardware vendor from a huge IP like COD because the company has slapped a screen on a controller.

Sony and MS I'm sure would love to have their own console exclusive COD built specifically for their machines too. That isn't how the business works and if Nintendo was expecting that they really are naive.
