Difference is that Pokemon was made when Japanese games/media was rising, with its popularity also being the reason Yu-gi-oh was popular(RIP yu-gi-oh).

 

Anyways, now we're in a day were kids prefer tablets. It might make it harder for the US to enjoy Yo-kai.

 

Also, Yo-kai is extremely Japanese-like. I don't think kids here will enjoy seeing the bizarre designs of all the Yo-kai. 

Well, I don't think Yokai will sell like Pokemon did at launch, nor like Mario did when it launched. I am saying it (I think) will sell like Mario and Pokemon sell NOW when they launch. Yokai can easily get 5 mil world wide, if not up to 15 mil I think.
