New 3DS, don't know about that one... 3DS wasn't doing that good anymore, so maybe it was a good thing to release.

I think Starfox had bad reception, so I'd expect it getting back to the table, so they'd make some changes - then again Platinum Games is behind Starfox Zero, and they have pretty bad track record when it comes to good games.

We already know Nintendo's quite a mess at the moment, been that for a while already. They're not putting out good games because that's not what they're interested in. Maybe it'll be fixed once NX is out, or maybe not.

@bolded. I was under the impression that Platinum Games are very well made, receive good reviews for the most part, and are enjoyed by the gaming community. Despite this their games do not sell that well. Just because Platinum Games don't sell to the masses, does not make their games lacklustre. Also, just because something sells well, does not necessarily make it good. 

Just because you like a game does not make it good. There's always one's personal preference you're entitled to, but when you think of Platinum games games, you should ask who's buying them? Masses aren't buying them, core gamers aren't buying them, hardcore aren't buying them. Then, who is? We already know reviewers don't mean shit anymore and they just try to play for their own pocket or the advertisers' pocket. In any case Nintendi desperately needs to sell, which means they need to make games that appeal to people.
